Huge congratulations to Kate Nicholson and Shudehill Bertie (by FUTURE ILLUSION) on being Reserve Champion in a very strong class of 17 in the Ladies Side Saddle Horse of The Year

Shudehill Bertie was bred in East Yorkshire by Dave Bull and has previously been a Hunter Champion last year with Kate. The change of class has certainly paid off, what an exciting versatile horse!

It’s fantastic for FUTURE ILLUSION to have another top flight HOYS Horse in yet another different class after the wonderful ‘Tell Me Another’ stood Price Family In Hand Supreme Champion in 2021 with Steve Pitt, and HM The King’s ‘Fools Paradise’ took 3rd in the Large Riding Horse in 2022 with Katie Jerram Hunnable.
