of the Progress of Holme Grove Prokofiev and Holme Park Krug

"Krug and Prokofiev have continued their
training in 2003 under my sister Julia Wetton. Julia was training
with Kyra Kyklund who is unfortunately moving from England and
Julia has therefore now started training with Peter Storr. The
stallions and Julia get on really well with Peter and much progress
has been made. They have not done much competition as have concentrated
on getting them more established at home, although Holme Grove
Prokofiev qualified for the Medium Winter Semi Finals in one
outing.
The
biggest surprise and most exciting news of the year was when Julia
found out she was pregnant ! Having a 13 year old son, Ernest
and a husband who underwent chemotherapy 11 years ago she thought
her family was complete! Her new baby is due at the end of April
2004.
As
she will have a few months out of the saddle we were delighted
when Peter Storr agreed to take over the rides on both Holme Grove
Prokofiev and Holme Park Krug while Julia is on maternity leave.
It will be an exciting period to follow their progress with Peter.
He can't wait to get his hands on them!!
Both
boys are currently at West Kington Stallion Centre having semen
collected for next season so that they can concentrate on competing
with Peter in 2004.
We
of course wish Julia, David and Ernie many congratulations on
their news and wish them well with the new arrival (Can prepare
a foaling box if required)."
