The
black stallion Ararad, foaled in 1921, during his lifetime was
one of the central stud's most consistent stallions. A stallion
with substance and long lines, known to be extremely prepotent.
Ararad had numerous sons which stood at regional studs. His
progeny all inherited substance and outstanding paces as well
as a pleasing type and good character, earning him the rare
honor of having spent his entire life at stud at Trakehnen.
