HG Genevieve's dam, Gotschna was bought by Holme Trakehners as a 2 year old filly at the Wahler’s auction in 1986 and she had HG Genevieve (by HG Istanbul), in 1989. HG Gotschna was sold and replaced in the broodmare herd by HG Genevieve. She grew into a stunning mare and was 1st in the 3-5 yo broodmare class and Reserve Champion TBF Broodmare. She was the highest graded Trakehner Mare at the 1993 Trakehner Breeders Fraternity gradings. Her son HG Gresham and daughter HG Gucci have both been exported to the USA and are successfully competing.

HG Genevieve is closely related to Ingrid Klimke's Olympic long-listed horse 'Grand Prix'.
