Future Genie

BE Points: 28 Intermediate (at 15/6/11)

At last after 11 years, Winsome Adante has a baby sister ! Her name is a combination of the 'Gen' from her dam's name 'Genoa', and the fact that Genies grant wishes, and we're hoping this filly will grant a few for us! Her stable name is Polly (Polly Pocket) because she is so cute...

Polly is now competing at Novice level in 2010 with Jeanette Brakewell and has just completed her first CIC*. She's now known as the Pocket Rocket!

A phenomenal performance from Future Genie at her first ever 1* at only 6 yrs old. She delivered a 49.2 dressage (8th after dressage) and followed this with a clear cross country with just 6 time penalties. Unfortunately her inexperience round a technical International standard track showed a little and 3 poles resulted in her dropping to 18th. However from a class of over 50 starters all of which bar one were older and more experienced, it was an incredible result which we are delighted with.

24/04/10 Ms Jeanette Brakewell Bradwall BE Novice

She was leading after dressage, but 2 uncharacteristic poles in the showjumping and some time penalties cost her the win. She cruised round the xc clear and inside the time.

Double Clear - finishing on her dressage score! She finished on the same score as the winning horse, but her time was 4 seconds faster and so the other horse was awarded the win for being closer to the optimum time.

26/07/09 Mr Brook Stapes Carlton BE 100

4th

Just 1.6 time penalities cost Future Genie the win!

15/07/09 Mr Brook Stapes Upton House BE 100 5YO

26/04/09 Mr Brook Stapes Bradwall BE 100 Open
