Louella Stud, renowned for their selection of high-quality sporthorse stallions said of The Outlaw, "this horse has some of the best potential seen by Louella. His conformation is admirable and his action extravagent and fluent. The quality of a thoroughbred with the temperament of a Hanoverian."

Visitors to the stud from Germany commented that should he be presented at the stallion gradings in Verden he is the sort of horse to be Champion.
