Golden Heights

Thoroughbred Stallion

16.2hh, Dark Brown, 9 1/4" of bone

Golden Heights is a very high class, superb moving stallion who influences his stock with class, movement and athleticism enabling them to be successful in any equestrian sport.

He is by one of the most successful Mill Reef stallions, Shirley Heights, with an equally impressive dam line being out of a Blakeney mare who is in turn out of a Crepello mare. Both sire and dam lines have produced winners in all the major classics with Blakeney also producing many National Hunt Champions.

Golden Heights himself won 5 races from 11f to 2&1/4 miles, until he was bought out of training to produce 3 day event horses, he would have otherwise gone into National Hunt training. He retired to stud sound.

All his stock are outstanding movers, very adaptable and have proved themselves with highly successful show careers both in hand and under saddle to Championship level, before moving on to begin their event and dressage careers. Offspring that have been bred to become pure show horses have done so with outstanding results at Wembley, Ponies UK and The Royal Show to name but a few.

His event horses have been successful through to CCI*** level. His dressage horses, all greatly admired by judges for their excellent movement, are competing up to Advanced level. His showjumpers have been successful at Newcomers, Foxhunter and Grade C level. He has also produced winners on the flat, over hurdles and Point to Points.
