"The next Cavalier" according to Irish Breeders
One of the most stunning looking International Showjumpers in the world. But Condios is not just a pretty face - his talent is undeniable, being Vice Champion of the 1996 German Showjumping Championship and multiple Grand Prix & Nations Cup contender, but also as the sire of top drawer performers including RoundThorn Madios the 2006 4 Year Old National Showjumping Champion of Ireland, Robo Paddy the 2006 Vice Champion of the 4 Year Old Future Event Horse League in Ireland, and Kilpatrick Triple C the highest priced horse sold at the Scope Elite Auction in November 2003.
Condios is linebred to the legendary thoroughbred Ladykiller. Linebreeding to Ladykiller is widely acknowledged in Europe as one of the most potent methods of producing jumpers.
His sire Coriano has the highest index in the Holsteiner breed for rideability. Condios has inherited this trait which he passes onto his offspring.
- Condios was Reserve Champion of the German Performance Test (score 129.9), finishing 3rd in jumping (score 123.73) and 1st in dressage (score 133.65). He was awarded above-average scores in every category including a perfect 10 for Character, 9 for Temperament, and 9 for Constitution. Condios was approved as a sire at the stallion inspections in Vechta by the Oldenburg Verband.

- In two World Cup Qualifiers (4th in the Helsinki World Cup Qualifier),
- In several Grand Prix (3rd at the Hague, 6th in Eindhoven, 7th in Zwolle, 11th in Madrid).

The Publication "Selected Sires of Germany 2002 - 2003" remarked of Condios that:
"His first crop of foals was born in 2000 & surpassed the highest expectations."
Irish breeders are saying the following about their Condios foals:
"He is the perfect foal, and he gets better every day." Tom Slattery, Ireland's Champion Grand Prix Rider, 1999, 2000, 2001.
"The three Condios colts I have this year are THE BEST foals I have ever bred." John Gleeson of County Galway, breeder of the approved stallion White Clover (by Clover Hill). John is in his eighties, so he has bred a few showjumpers in his lifetime!
"I have never bred a better moving foal in all my life. He was the first Warmblood - Irish cross I ever bred, and he has the finest conformation and is the most stylish mover. He has great hindquarters and lovely bone -- very impressive!" Paddy Cooke of County Leitrim, another old-time breeder and big fan of Cruising, who has bred many showjumpers that made top money in the auction ring.
"Condios' stock are well conformed, have nice temperaments, and are exceptionally athletic. We expect them to excel in many different disciplines." John and Liam Nicholas of County Clare, breeder of many top horses including the international showjumper King Cavalier (by Cavalier Royale).
"My Condios colt has a great temperament whilst being confident and inquisitive. His conformation is totally correct and he has fabulous suspension in his movement. The colt has already displayed an effortless medium trot that lifts him eight inches off the floor. His transitions are fluid and the speed that he gets up to down the field will hopefully ensure that he has no problems making the time across country!...I think my Condios foal shows all the requirements for modern day event horses. He has the required temperament, is self assured, and has fabulous movement. I already plan on using Condios on my mares for the long-term future. After all, when a stallion is proving his ability in competition, producing quality foals and is approved in many of the world's major stud books, why would you want to change a winning formula? I certainly won't!" Dian George, Tinwee Stud, County Tipperary, breeder and producer of eventing horses.
From Condios's first crop of foals in Denmark the 5-year-old gelding Condi jumped well in the Final of the Danish Young Horse Championship.
From his first crop of foals in Ireland the 2001 gelding Loughnavatta Papillon (bred by Stephanie Heffernan and owned by Rory Costigan) won a Future Event Horse League Qualifier under Katie O'Sullivan.
He had the highest priced foal at the November 2003 SCOPE auction and was exported to South America by the Equestrian Federation of Uruguay. Two-year-olds have sold for £23,000 (a colt) to Ireland and £17,000 (a filly) to England
2006 will saw younsters by Condios in sport for the first time in Ireland and many breeders and owners including former Irish Grand Prix Champion Tom Slattery told us they have excellent prospects. This was borne out by their results:
- 2006 4-Year-Old Showjumping Champion of Ireland - 'Roundthorn Madios'.
- 2006 4-Year-Old Balmoral National Showjumping Champion of Northern Ireland
- 2006 4-Year-Old Future Event Horse League Vice-Champion - 'Robo Paddy'. Robo Paddy won the CNC* at Dromiskin, Co. Louth (15/04/08)
- Three 4-year-olds competed in the 4-Year-Old Championship at the Dublin Horse Show (one placed fourth)
- Another 4-year-old competed in the Final of the Future Event Horse League
- Another filly 'Concentric' placed fourth in the 3-Year-Old Millstreet Loose-Jumping Championship
- Two young horses have begun Affliated Eventing in the UK in 2006 -
Stilo Kontika (Double clear every time out and one of the Top 20 Best British Eventing 5 Year Olds (16th)), and Stilo Robellino (Pre-Novice level) - both with unblemished cross country records in their first season competing
- Other offspring include
Confident M2S, Contango M2S, Miami Star, and out of a Condios mare, Acondia M2S
- Runrig Gangster, a four-year-old gelding by Condios, won the Regional Qualifier on 11th October for the Danish Show Jumping Championship for 5-year-old horses which takes place at the National Stallion Show in March 2008 in Herning, Denmark.
Condios produces beautiful, high quality offspring with outstanding movement and jumping potential.
The Irish Farmers Journal named Condios a "Top 10 Sire". The list contains the names of the sires in Ireland whose progeny sold for the top 10% at public auction. Condios is the youngest approved stallion on the exclusive list.
